How do I set my watch for Daylight Saving Time?

In Canada, Daylight Saving Time is set according to the geographic area of Canada that you live in.  The majority of the country observes Daylight Saving Time from the second Sunday of March to the first Sunday of November.  Canada has six different time zones: Mountain, Pacific, Central, Eastern, Atlantic and Newfoundland.

Quartz Watches

To set your quartz watch to the correct time in the Spring (forward) or Fall (back) follow these steps:

1. Pull the crown out to the 2^nd click to stop the second hand
2. Rotate the crown to set the hands to the correct time
3. Push the crown in firmly to its normal position

To set your watch with a calendar feature:

1. Pull the crown out to the 1^st click (calendar setting position)
2. Set the date to yesterday’s number by rotating the crown counterclockwise
3. IF your watch has a day feature, set the day of the week by turning the crown clockwise
4. After you have set the calendar, pull the crown out to the 2^nd click and rotate the crown until both hands pass 12 and the date changes to today’s number
5. IF the time is am, rotate the crown to set the hands to the correct time. If the time is pm, rotate the crown until both hands pass 12 then continue to rotate the crown to set the hands to the correct time. 
6. Push the crown in firmly to its normal position

Mechanical Watches

To set your mechanical watch to the correct time in the Spring (forward) or Fall (back):

1. Follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual for your watch make and model
